Botanical Garden- Week 8

This is not a sponsored post. I just really, really love my Happy Planner and want to share the love and ideas!

I can’t even believe how fast this year is going by. We are already almost done with August in our planners! What?? So crazy! Last week I really started using my teacher planner (blog post coming soon on how that is set up!), so I feel like my Botanical Garden planner is going to turn more into a home/personal planner. Although I am still putting important work stuff in it, I am trying to transition into just using it for home/personal items. We will see how that goes!

When I first started in August in this planner, I was terrified of the green and orange accents on all of the pages. I never use green OR orange, so I had no idea how I was going to compliment those colors for four weeks. Now, I think I was crazy! I am loving this color scheme! This week I added in pink to compliment the pink numbers at the top, and oooooh be still my heart! I loved this week SO MUCH! I used tombow dual brush pens to write “Professional development” over Tuesday-Thursday. Also, the banners are made from mambi stickers that were in the Neons Planner Basics sticker pack!

This was halfway through this week’s spread, and guys I just seriously loved it so much! I loved using the icon stickers to notate important items. And true story: Underneath that “TODAY” sticker on Monday was a TERRIBLE mess up…. I put my dad’s birthday even though his birthday was the day before! YIKES! Where was my brain on that one?? Anyway, the TODAY sticker quickly covered that mistake up, and no one is the wiser! I love mambi stickers!

And here’s the second half of this week. I loved using the checklist stickers at the end of the week! I feel like I had a lot of “To Dos” at the end of the week/weekend, and those checklist stickers really helped me plan it all out. Also, there was another mess up underneath the striped sticker on Friday– I’m telling you, that’s my favorite planner hack! Messed up? Put something down that later got canceled? Spelled something wrong? COVER IT WITH A STICKER!! YES! #plannerhack

Here’s the entire week together. I loved it SO MUCH! The colors were so bright and fun to work with!! I’m already planning a similar color scheme for a future week in my memory planner because I loved it SO MUCH!
